Former Harlem Globetrotter Comes to Capital District to Share Against Anti-Violence
Seth Franco and Pastor Charlie Muller team up to host anti-violence events
ALBANY, NY (05/14/2009)(readMedia)-- Pastor Charlie Muller of Victory Christian Church will host a weekend of safe street awareness, kicking off today with Seth Franco performing and speaking at Livingston Middle School at 10:00am. Franco will repeat this event at 9:30am tomorrow at Philip Schuyler Middle School and at 3:30pm at St. Anne's Home for Girls. He will also be ministering at Victory Christian Church at 7:00pm tonight.
Pastor Charlie and Seth will continue through the weekend, holding events around the Capital District to spread anti-violence and safe street awareness, including a rally on the Capital Building's steps Saturday from 2-4PM with adult group "Kindred Spirits" expressing love to our young people.
The weekend's events will finish Sunday with a reclamation march sweeping through the Arbor Hill and West Hill areas, reclaiming the City Blocks. This event will be kicked off with a briefing from District Attorney David Soares Sunday at 12:30pm at Victory Church.
Pastor Charlie is endeavoring to continue building a committee to promote the safe-street, anti-violence message, encouraging those of the community to also get involved.
