Former Harlem Globetrotter Seth Franco to Visit Albany Schools
Two-Day Tour to Promote Community in Student's Lives and School Spirit
ALBANY, NY (12/02/2009)(readMedia)-- Former Harlem Globetrotter Seth Franco will be visiting the Capital District for a two-day tour to include area schools:
- Thursday morning (Dec. 3rd) - Albany High School
- Thursday afternoon (Dec. 3rd) - Albany Elementary and T.O.A.S.T.
- Friday morning (Dec. 4th) - Myers High
- Friday afternoon (Dec. 4th) - Hackett Middle School
Pastor Charlie Muller of Victory Christian Church is coordinating these events in hopes of instilling a sense of community in the student's lives and building school spirit in the Albany School District. He believes this is where the anti-violence campaigns should start: Bring a message of hope and community to the kids instead of having to prosecute these kids as adults.
Seth Franco is looking forward to his first time sharing the story of his success at Albany High School.
