Former Helix Athlete Madeline Bass Earns Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Honors

Bass Selected to NEAC Women's Lacrosse All-Conference First Team

AURORA , NY (05/11/2010)(readMedia)-- Freshmen Madeline Bass (Lemon Grove, Calif./Helix) of the Wells College women's lacrosse team in Aurora, N.Y. has earned North Eastern Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse First Team All-Conference honors recently released by the NEAC office. Bass was one of two freshmen who were named to the NEAC First Team.

Bass helped the Express to one of its most successful years in recent history finishing 7-2 in the NEAC and 8-8 overall, earning the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament held this past weekend. The Express won their semi-final round game against No. 4 seed Cazenovia 17-16 in double-overtime before falling to No. 2 seed Keuka College, 15-14, in the NEAC championship game on April 25.

Bass finished the season with 23 goals, 12 assist, 38 groundballs, and 29 draw controls.
