"He recognizes that assisting lawyers to overcome their challenges benefits society and the legal profession, as well as the individual lawyer."

Marlow, currently of counsel to Gellert & Klein, previously served as a trial judge on town, family, county and state Supreme Court levels.

During his judicial tenure, Marlow has chaired the Advisory Committee on Judicial Ethics since 2007. He served on the Committee on Fiduciary Appointments and the Committee to Foster Confidence in the Judicial Election Process.

The award recognizes an individual who has contributed to assisting lawyers in recovery. Marlow received his award on June 23 in Cooperstown.
