SPRINGFIELD, MA (07/02/2013)(readMedia)-- Francesco A. Aiello of East Longmeadow received the Chemistry Book Prize during Baccalaureate ceremonies at Western New England University. Anne Poirot, professor of Chemistry, presented the award which is given to a graduating senior with outstanding achievement in Chemistry.
Aiello graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science. He is a member of the Pi Mu Epsilon honor society. While at Western New England University, Aiello was accepted into the AustraLearn Study Abroad program and studied at Monash University in Australia for a semester.
