Frantz Fanon Book Award

Fariha Hossain, a senior studying English at Georgia State University, was awarded the Frantz Fanon Book Award.

Thanks to an anonymous donor, the English Department awards five annual scholarships designed to support the purchase of books for the following year. The award honors the spirit and legacy of Frantz Fanon-a writer, philosopher, and revolutionary whose work continues to shape contemporary studies in literature, culture, and politics. The scholarship celebrates Georgia State University's students of African-American origin, but students of all ethnicities are invited to apply.
