Fresno Native Katie Jenkins-Moses Named to Spring 2013 Dean's List at Whittier College

WHITTER, CA (07/23/2013)(readMedia)-- Fresno native Katie Jenkins-Moses was named to the Spring 2013 Dean's List in recognition of her academic excellence. In addition, the political science and art double major graduated Magna Cum Laude and with academic distinction in her major (political science) on May 17.
In her four-years at Whittier, Jenkins-Moses was an active student on campus and served as the editor-in-chief of the student newspaper, The Quaker Campus. In her senior year, Jenkins-Moses was named "Outstanding Student in Studio Art" and received the 2013 President's Purchase Prize for her water color painting, Cornered, during the end-of-the-year student art exhibit.
Undergraduate students are awarded Dean's List honors if he or she earns a 3.70 grade point average (GPA) while completing a full-time course load (12 units) in the fall and spring terms.
