St. Philip’s on the Park Opens Renovated Plaza and Playground; Announces Completion of Apartment Renovations

St. Philip's on the Park, a 260-unit affordable rental apartment building in Harlem, celebrates the completion of major capital improvements, a renovated plaza and a new playground. A "Thank You BBQ" for tenants will be hosted by Blue Sea Development, the developer, and catered by Dinosaur Bar-B-Que.

Background:
The $28.2 million renovation of St. Philip's on the Park was financed by the New York State Housing Finance Agency (HFA) with financial assistance provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD). The improvements were completed a year ahead of schedule and without displacing any tenants.
