Fuel Service Suspended at Angola Travel Plaza on I-90 Eastbound
Restaurant and Restroom Services Remain Available
ALBANY, NY (09/14/2011)(readMedia)-- Fuel service is temporarily suspended at the Angola Travel Plaza on I-90 eastbound beginning at 8 a.m. Thursday, September 15, 2011, the New York State Thruway Authority announced. Following scheduled testing, fuel services are expected to be restored later the same day.
The Angola Travel Plaza is located along I-90 eastbound between Exit 58 (Silver Creek, Irving, NY Route 438) and Exit 57A (Eden, Angola), at milepost 447.
Restroom and restaurant services at the Angola Travel Plaza will remain available during the fuel testing process.
Eastbound travelers on I-90 in need of fuel are advised to stop at the Pembroke Travel Plaza at milepost 397, between Exit 48A (Pembroke, Medina, NY Route 77) and Exit 48 (Batavia, NY Route 98). The Angola Travel Plaza is about 50 miles west of the Pembroke Travel Plaza.
The Thruway Authority will activate Variable Message Signs prior to the Angola Travel Plaza to advise eastbound motorists of the temporary suspension of fuel services.
The Thruway Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this fuel testing.
