Gahr Signs Letter of Intent with Genesee

BATAVIA, NY (01/19/2016)(readMedia)-- The Genesee Community College women's soccer program recently announced the signing of Tierra Gahr, who committed to the Cougars for the upcoming fall season.

Gahr will join GCC as a forward as the Cougars look to build on an offense that produced 64 goals in 2015, the eighth highest total in the country.

A Sodus High School senior, Gahr scored 60 goals for the Spartans as a four-year member of the girls soccer team. She was a two-time team MVP and selected to the All-Greater Rochester team four times.

Gahr plans to study Nursing and Physical Therapy at GCC.

Genesee advanced to the NJCAA Region III Semifinals in 2015 and finished the season with an 11-6 overall record.

Genesee Community College athletics program endeavors to provide a quality and competitive intercollegiate athletics program consistent with the National Junior Collegiate Athletics Association (NJCAA) philosophy and the overall educational mission of Genesee Community College.
