Garden Grove Native Aiko Araki Named to Spring 2013 Dean's List at Whittier College

Garden Grove native Aiko Araki was named to the Spring 2013 Dean's List in recognition of her academic excellence. The kinesiology and nutrition science major graduated Magna Cum Laude and with academic distinction in her major on May 17.

In addition, Araki was named "Outstanding Student in Kinesiology and Nutrition Science" during the spring Honors Convocation. 

Undergraduate students are awarded Dean's List honors if he or she earns a 3.70 grade point average (GPA) while completing a full-time course load (12 units) in the fall and spring terms.
