MACON, GA (04/24/2014)(readMedia)-- Mercer University presented Dr. Andy Digh, associate professor of computer science, with the Spencer B. King Distinguished Professor of the Year Award during the University's annual Faculty Awards Ceremony on Thursday, April 17. The award is given for excellence in teaching to a faculty member within the College of Liberal Arts.

Digh, a 1988 graduate of Gaston Day School and a 1992 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Asheville, is the son of Ronnie Digh of Gastonia and the late Rolanda Baker Digh.
