Gelbvieh Breeders Awarded Honors in Iowa State Fair Show

DES MOINES, IA (09/04/2015)(readMedia)-- Prairie Grove Gelbvieh of Danville earned Grand Champion Bull honors in the Gelbvieh Cattle show August 21 at the 2015 Iowa State Fair. Prairie Grove Gelbvieh also showed the Champion Iowa Bull.

Five Pine Cattle Co. of Ocheyedan exhibited the Reserve Grand Champion Bull.

Hojer Ranch of Lake Preston, S.D. took home the Grand Champion Female banner while Taubenheim Gelbvieh of Amherst, Neb. claimed Reserve Grand Champion Female honors.

Beenken Farms of Buckingham walked away with Champion Iowa Female honors.
