Genesee's Medina Campus Center Hosts 'Sleep Week'

BATAVIA, NY (02/22/2010)(readMedia)-- The Medina campus center of Genesee Community College is hosting a "Sleep Week" during February 22 - 26. In addition to a "relaxing" atmosphere, two special speakers will present on the topics of sleep disorders and the newly anticipated Polysomnographic Technology degree program. 'Sleep Week' is free and open to all community members.

Tuesday, February 23, from 5:00-6:00PM, Elise Banfield, instructor of Psychology at Genesee, will present "Sleep: A Look at Sleep Disorders and Healthy Sleep Patterns". This workshop will provide an overview of the sleep cycle, tips on getting a good night sleep, and information on sleep disorders.
