STORM LAKE, IOWA (04/29/2014)(readMedia)-- Genesis Talamantes from Storm Lake has been awarded the prestigious full tuition Multicultural Scholarship from Buena Vista University (BVU). This scholarship is only given to four individuals annually.

BVU's recent survey of the Class of 2013 reports that 97 percent of the class have found employment or entered graduate/professional school within six months of graduation, according to a 98 percent response rate. Eighty-five percent of all BVU majors have 100 percent post-graduation success, and no major has more than one graduate still seeking first-time employment. This is consistent with past surveys of BVU graduating classes over the last several years and exceeds the national average of 67 percent as reported by the National Association of Colleges and Employers.
