Georgia State Student Graciela Cain Receives Africana Studies Scholarship

Georgia State University student Graciela Cain recently received the Lucille Adams Scholarship in African American Studies.

Cain, of Decatur, is a Bachelor's student in Africana Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences.

The Lucille Adams Scholarship is awarded to rising seniors in the department who have unmet financial need and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 in Africana Studies coursework.

Students are selected based on their service to their community, campus and to the department.

The College of Arts and Sciences provides a skill-based liberal arts and sciences education for Atlanta's diverse, next-generation workforce.
