Georgia State University Student Alfred Boakye Receives Travel Scholarship
Georgia State University student Alfred Boakye recently received a travel scholarship to attend the Gerontological Society of America Meetings and the preconference workshop, "Pathways to Equity-Based Aging Research and Practice."
The travel scholarship was awarded by the organization Black in Gerontology and Geriatrics (BIGG) in collaboration with the American Federation for Aging Research.
The pre-conference workshop will convene advanced students and early career researchers, practitioners, and advocates interested in addressing the harm that can be perpetuated through faulty research methods and practices.
