Georgia State University Student Awarded Scholarship In Recognition Of Excellence

Georgia State University student Ifrah Sheikh has been awarded the Bailey M. Wade Scholarship for her excellence in coursework, research and scholarship, and departmental service.

Sheikh, of Atlanta, is a Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student in the College of Arts & Sciences at Georgia State University.

The Bailey M. Wade Scholarship is granted to graduate students who demonstrate need, merit, and career goals that reflect those of Dr. Bailey M. Wade. Bailey M. Wade was a professor and head of the Department of Psychology at Georgia State University from 1951 until 1965, during which the graduate program was started.

The College of Arts & Sciences provides a skills-based liberal arts and sciences education for Atlanta's diverse, next-generation workforce.
