Georgia State University Student Pam DiGioia Named Semi-Finalist for the Fulbright Student Fellowship

Georgia State University student Pamela DiGioia was named a Semi-Finalist for the Fulbright Student Fellowship. DiGioia, of Lilburn, is a Applied Linguistics master's student in the College of Arts & Sciences.

The Fulbright Student Fellowship provides students with the opportunity to live and work abroad. To be competitive for the fellowship, candidates must have an excellent academic background, demonstrate leadership in their field and be willing to serve as an ambassador during this cultural exchange.

The Fulbright Program is designed to build lasting connections between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. The program offers teaching, research or a combination of study/research awards and is supported by the United States, other participating governments and host institutions, corporations and foundations. The program operates in more than 140 countries.
