Lung disease makes a big impact on children and adults in Tennessee. Presently 2 to 3 residents of our local community die each day from some type of lung-related illness. The American Lung Association estimates that over 350,000 people in the Tri-State area suffer from some form of asthma, COPD, emphysema, and lung cancer. In addition, the area local area has the highest percentage use of tobacco products by school age children than any area in the nation.
"The fight for air is so important," says Cudabac. "We greatly appreciate the generosity of the community in supporting this event."
