Gomez named The 2018-2019 Green Umbrella Co-President

Lia Gomez of San Antonio, Texas, has been elected as the Iowa State University (ISU) 2018-2019 Green Umbrella Student Organization Co-President. The Green Umbrella (TGU) seeks to make ISU students more aware of sustainable efforts by stimulating discussion, uniting in one voice, and developing unique approaches to teach students how to live a more sustainable lifestyle. TGU also assists the Office of Sustainability with campus wide events, lectures and discussions on sustainability at Iowa State University.
