Governor Cuomo and Pennsylvania Governor Corbett Announce Wager on Jets-Steelers AFC Championship Game

ALBANY, NY (01/22/2011)(readMedia)-- Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett today announced that they have made an inter-state wager on the New York Jets – Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday Night AFC Championship game. In the unlikely event of a Pittsburgh win, Governor Cuomo is staking a gift basket of New York products including Nathan's hotdogs, chicken wings from Buffalo, Hudson Valley apple cider as well as cheese and maple syrup produced in the State. Gov. Corbett is wagering a gift basket of "PA Preferred" products.

"The New York Jets, following an impressive season and most recently, a great win over the New England Patriots, will be victorious Sunday night, and I look forward to receiving the gift basket from Governor Corbett," Gov. Cuomo said.
