Graceland University Students Earn Roles in Theatre Production of "The Importance of Being Earnest, A Trivial Comedy for Serious People"

Graceland University Theatre students earned roles in "The Importance of Being Earnest, A Trivial Comedy for Serious People," under the direction of Graceland Associate Professor of Theatre Tracy Salter. "The Importance of Being Earnest..." was originally written as a comedy of wit and character satirizing the Victorian British class system and social pretenses. This performance was an updated approach to the production, which comments on a still prevalent class system and the values that support it.
