Great Midwest Honors Five Trevecca Men's Soccer Players

NASHVILLE, TN (11/06/2012)(readMedia)--  Five Trevecca men's soccer players were selected to the 2012 Great Midwest All-Conference team this afternoon.

Sophomore midfielder Connor Inman (sophomore, Franklin High school, Franklin, Tenn.) was the only First-Team selection for the Trojans. Inman joined three other Trojans with a team-high five assists. Inman added two goals for a total of nine points.

Four more players were placed on the Second Team for TNU. Forwards Matt Raines (junior, Middle Tennessee Fire, Mt. Juliet, Tenn.) and Jonathan Baskin (junior, Mt. Juliet, Tenn.) made that list along with midfielder Donny Maciel (sophomore, Oak Mountain High School, Morelia, Mexico). Baskin led the Trojans in scoring with 10 goals. Matt Raines was second in total points with seven goals and five assists for a total of 19 points. Maciel had five goals this season for a total of 10 points.

Defender Austin Halstead (junior, Spring Hill High Schoo, Columbia, Tenn.) rounded out Trevecca's selections on the Second Team. Halstead led a strong Trojan defense this season
