Grinnell Farm Nabs Top Banners in Iowa State Fair Hampshire Swine Show

DES MOINES, IA (09/06/2011)(readMedia)-- Iverson Farms of Grinnell exhibited the Champion Boar and Champion Gilt in the Hampshire Swine Show held Friday, August 19, at the 2011 Iowa State Fair.

Ploeger Show Pigs of Pierson claimed the Reserve Champion Boar title while Victory Show Pigs of Ottumwa won Reserve Champion Gilt honors.

Ron Warrick and Family of Gowrie claimed Premier Exhibitor honors. The award is presented to the exhibitor earning the highest point total in individual breeding classes of competition.
