Guilderland Resident Christine Lennard Promoted to Air National Guard Colonel

LATHAM, NY (12/24/2015)(readMedia)-- Guilderland resident Christine Lennard has been promoted to the rank of colonel in the New York Air National Guard. Lennard is a judge advocate general officer assigned to the National Guard Bureau's Special Victims Counsel Program.
After completing an assignment as the judge advocate with the 109th Airlift Wing at Stratton Air National Guard Base, Scotia, Lennard served on an active-duty operational support tour as an attorney advisor for the National Guard Bureau's Office of Chief Counsel, where she worked in the Special Victims Counsel Branch. She spent two years serving as the director of personnel and commander of the 109th Force Support Squadron of the 109th Airlift Wing.
Lennard received a direct commission as an Air Force judge advocate general officer upon her graduation from Albany Law School in 1992. Since then, she's served in various judge advocate general posts on active duty, the Air Force Reserves and the Air National Guard.
Col Lennard is married to retired Air Force Lt. Col. Bruce Lennard. They have four children: Hank, David, Noelle, and Nathan.
