Gypsy Hill Golf Course Finally Clear of 57 Inches of Snow - More Than Alaska
Gypsy Hill Golf Course to open tomorrow - March 11
STAUNTON, VA (03/10/2010)(readMedia)-- It's been a banner year for snow fall in the Shenandoah Valley and under all of that white stuff laid the Gypsy Hill Golf Course. The course resembled a ghost town and club house so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Hopefully that will all change. Crews have been working double time clearing golf cart paths and shaded areas of snow accumulations. Tommorrow the course will open for regular play. The sun would be a welcome addition to the Spring 2010 kickoff.
