Hammers State Fair Competition

DES MOINES, IA (08/21/2018) (readMedia)-- Julia Wearmouth of Des Moines won first place in the Ladies Nail Driving contest held Saturday at the 2018 Iowa State Fair

Vicki Morris of New Virginia and Nicole Stevens of Afton tied for second place. Carey Lynam

of Creston claimed third place.

The contest was part of "Rural Americana Olde Tyme Competitions" in Farm Bureau Pioneer Hall. A first prize of $5 and ribbons were awarded to each class.
