Hana Wright Named Northeast-10 Rookie of the Week

PLEASANTVILLE, NY (03/20/2012)(readMedia)-- Freshman catcher Hana Wright (Hillsboro OR/Valley Catholic) was named Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week after batting .467 in a 7-1 week. The Setters swept three doubleheaders on their North Carolina road trip last week.

Wright batted .467 with five runs scored, three doubles, two homeruns, and six RBI's in a 7-1 week. She went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI's in a sweep over Fayetteville State, and then was 3-for-5 with two homeruns, three RBI's, a double and three runs scored in a sweep over Virginia State.

The Setters return to action on Tuesday, March 20 when they will open their Northeast-10 Conference schedule at home as they will host the College of Saint Rose a 3 pm on the Briarcliff campus.
