Hannah Bell of Glen Allen Receives Clarkson University's Top Award for Young Alumni

POTSDAM, NY (07/26/2010)(readMedia)-- Hannah J. Bell of Glen Allen, Va., has received the Woodstock Award from her alma mater, Clarkson University.
Given each year during Reunion Weekend, the Woodstock Award honors young alumni who have demonstrated outstanding loyalty and service to Clarkson and the Alumni Association and who have used their Clarkson experience to make a notable contribution to their careers.
Bell received her bachelor of science in civil and environmental engineering from Clarkson in 1995. Upon graduation, she accepted a project engineer position with Malcolm Pirnie, in Newport News, Va., where she worked on water and wastewater treatment design projects across the U.S. and internationally.
Bell went on to work with Sear Brown Group in Rochester, N.Y., as a project engineer, and then at Malcolm Pirnie's Rochester office.
Bell most recently worked for InfraMap Corporation in Richmond, Va., where she obtained a position as the southeast regional director in 2004. She was responsible for the management of several contracts within the southeast with the Department of Transportation in South Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia in addition to private, municipal and industrial clients.
Bell is a licensed professional engineer in New York, Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia and Maryland.
She has remained an active admission volunteer since graduation. While in Rochester, Bell was involved with the Rochester Alumni Chapter and was also a member of the Clarkson University Alumni Executive Council. She received of the Stub Baker Chapter Service citation in 2003.
Bell and her husband, Mike, reside in Glen Allen, Va., where they are raising four boys, ages 8, 7, 4 and 1 years old.
