Hartwick College Athletics Announces Male Athlete of the Year
Colin August '26 of Garrison, New York, received the Roy Chipman Memorial Male Athlete of the Year Award during the Athletics Awards Ceremony on May 3. A member of the men's lacrosse team, August was honored as the top male athlete in the Hartwick athletic program. The award honors a student-athlete whose character and sportsmanship have made a positive impact on a team, the College and the community.
In addition, August represented the Hawks in the prestigious United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III North/South All-Star Game on May 22 at Randolph-Macon College. One of just 58 Division III student-athletes selected for the annual showcase, August became Hartwick's first representative in the USILA North/South All-Star Game since 2019.
