Hartwick College's Kelsey Bollen Named Empire 8 Women's Soccer Co-Defensive Player of the Week

Kelsey Bollen '29 of Wappingers Falls, N.Y., earned the Empire 8 Women's Soccer Co-Defensive Player of the Week honor on Sept. 21, 2026. Bollen recorded back-to-back shutouts in net against St. Lawrence and Nazareth, making 13 saves on 21 shots over the two games. Bollen stopped four shots in a scoreless draw against St. Lawrence before stopping all nine shots on goal against Nazareth, including six in the second half of a 1-0 victory that gave Hartwick its first conference win of 2026.
