Hartwick College's Kevin Zheng Named Empire 8 Men's Swimming and Diving Swimmer of the Week

Keving Zheng '30 of Chino Hills, California, earned the Empire 8 Men's Swimming and Diving Swimmer of the Week honor on Oct. 19, 2026. The honor is the first of his career and the first team honors since November of last year when Cameron Drake was named Swimmer of the Week.

He swam the 100-yard freestyle in 47.76, 50-yard freestyle in 21.52 and the 100-yard butterfly in 53.31. He was the lead-off swimmer in the relay, recording his lowest split time of the day at 21.49 for his 50 yards.
