Hastings-on-Hudson resident joins national engineering society
SCHENECTADY, NY (08/01/2012)(readMedia)-- Alexander Indig '13, of Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y., was recently selected for the Union College chapter of Pi Tau Sigma, a national mechanical engineering honor society.
Pi Tau Sigma was established in 1915 at the University of Illinois. The organization's core values are integrity, service and leadership. Members are chosen on a basis of sound engineering ability, scholarship, personality and probable future success in the field of mechanical engineering.
Union College, founded in 1795 as the first college chartered by the New York State Board of Regents, offers programs in the liberal arts and engineering to 2,100 undergraduates of high academic promise and strong personal motivation.
