Haute Haberdashery Wins State Fair Awards

DES MOINES, IA (08/19/2018) (readMedia)-- The best in bedazzled headwear was on display in the Marvelous Hats Competition, judged August 15, at the 2018 Iowa State Fair.

In the Glamorous and Glitzy division of competition, Alivia McIntosh of Dunkerton won first place. Marlene Vols of Ankeny claimed second place and Pat McIntosh of Dunkerton earned third place.

Tauna Bohlmann of Audubon won first place in the Wild and Wacky division. Sandy Bruns of Cedar Rapids earned second place and Lane McIntosh of Dunkerton claimed third place.

Marlene Vols of Ankeny won first place in the Theme division of competition. Melanie Eason of Ankeny took second place and Teresa Minard of Clarinda earned third place.
