Healthcare Career Showcase Set for Oct. 8 at SUNY Adirondack
Free evening event connects adults with local healthcare careers, ?hands-on demos, and employers
QUEENSBURY, NY (09/18/2025) (readMedia)-- The Healthcare Career Showcase 2025 will be held Wednesday, October 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at SUNY Adirondack's Northwest Bay Conference Center, 640 Bay Road, Queensbury. The event is free for adults. Registration is encouraged, and walk-ins are welcome.
Healthcare jobs are in demand, pay a living wage, and many organizations offer on-the-job training, so getting started is easier than you might think.
Attendees will hear practical insights from a panel of healthcare professionals, meet recruiters and employers who are hiring now, and take part in an interactive demonstration that walks through real-life healthcare scenarios. Guest speaker Liza Ochsendorf, Director of Warren County Workforce Development, will share adult-focused tips for breaking into the field and building a sustainable career.
