Heitland Recipient of Wanita Danley Centennial English Honors Endowment at ECU

Carli Heitland, right of Sulphur, was the recipient of the Wanita Danley Centennial English Honors Endowment at East Central University's Department of English and Languages Banquet held this past spring. Pictured with Heitland is Dr. Sarah Peters, associate professor and chair of the Department of English and Languages. Danley was a long-time member of the English Department and this scholarship was established in her honor and memory by family, friends and colleagues. The Wanita Danley Scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior majoring in English who is also a member of the Honors Program.
