Helen Driesen Receives Pappoutsakis Award

Helen Driesen won the Pappoutsakis Award from the UVM Department of Music at UVM's College of Arts and Sciences Awards Ceremony held May 17.

The Pappoutsakis Award is given to a graduating senior that has shown excellence in conducting/directing. The award is named for Prof. Emeritus Ippocrates Pappoutsakis (1909-1990) who published "Diagrams of Basic Movements in Conducting" in 1943.
