The exact nature of suffering extends from individual health and social afflictions to the grand schemes of poverty, hunger, absence of shelter, and economic, political, and religious oppression. Members of communities often fail to recognize that other communities experience similar suffering as well. This event is aimed to inform attendees how different faiths combat suffering through their sacred texts as well as inform the Rochester community how to bring communities of different faiths together in times of suffering.
