SPRINGFIELD, MA (05/09/2012)(readMedia)-- Molly E. Higbie of Lindenhurst, NY, has received the Student Association Volunteer of the Year Award at Western New England University. Higbie is a senior graduating with a degree in English. Western New England honored the winners of the 2012 Cocurricular Awards at a ceremony on April 28.

The Student Association Volunteer of the Year Award is given to a student who, mainly "behind the scenes," consistently and unselfishly gives time and energy in support of cocurricular programs or the advancement of student life.
