Higgins receives Chapman Scholarship from ECU's Department of Education

Christy Higgins, right of McAlester, received the Audre Chapman Scholarship during the East Central University Department of Education's 2019 Spring Awards Luncheon. Pictured with Higgins is Dr. Phyllis Isaacs, associate professor of education. The Audre Chapman Scholarship was established in 1986 with a $10,000 donation from the family. Audre Chapman attended ECU from January 1927 to May 1928 and received a lifetime certificate. She taught in both Oklahoma and Arizona.
