Hootie & the Blowfish: Group Therapy Tour Coming to the Iowa State Fair

DES MOINES, IA (12/03/2018) (readMedia)-- Never before at the Fair- Hootie & the Blowfish reunite to bring their: Group Therapy Tour to the Iowa State Fair Grandstand on Sunday, August 18, 2019 along with opening act, Barenaked Ladies. Tickets go on sale on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM. along with previously announced funny man, Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias.

Hootie & the Blowfish, with two GRAMMY Awards, an MTV Video Music Award, a Billboard Music Award, and multiple People's Choice Awards, remains a top musical draw with audiences nationwide. The band took a break from full-time touring in 2007, reuniting annually for a variety of philanthropic events while also pursuing solo projects. 2019 will mark the band's first full-time touring year in over a decade as they embark on the Group Therapy Tour. Barenaked Ladies is known for their live performances complete with comedy and free-style rapping. They have won multiple music awards, sold over 15 million records and were inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in March 2018.

Gabriel Iglesias, the comedian nicknamed, Fluffy is one of the most watched comedians on YouTube with over 380 million views and 14 million social media followers. He is set bring his one-of-kind show to the Iowa State Fair U.S. Cellular Grandstand – Kum & Go Stage on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 8 PM.

The Iowa State Fair Ticket Office will open July 5 for walk-up orders only (while supplies last). Convenience charges apply to all tickets. Grandstand tickets do not include Fair admission.
