Hutchinson resident earns Army ROTC scholarship from KU

LAWRENCE, KS (03/27/2012)(readMedia)-- Garrett Hardon, of Hutchinson, has earned a three-year scholarship from the University of Kansas Army ROTC Department. Hardon's academic studies, extracurricular participation, athletic activities and demonstrated leadership potential, as well as the desire to serve as an officer in the U.S. Army were crucial in the Army's decision to award him with a scholarship. His scholarship will pay for all of his tuition, fees and books. Garrett's scholarship is worth approximately $44,266.
