Hydrographic Society of America awards scholarships to TROY students

The Hydrographic Society of America recently awarded scholarships to two Troy University students. Students Cameron Morris of Chatom, Alabama, and Phillip "Scott" Dowdy of Hokes Bluff, Alabama, were the recipients.

The scholarships are awarded to full-time students seeking degrees in hydrographic surveying, ocean mapping, geomatics, ocean sciences, geographic information system (GIS), ocean engineering or electrical engineering.

Morris and Dowdy each received a scholarship of $1,000 from the Southeast Chapter of THSOA
