ICC Vocal Jazz Travels to New Orleans

ICC Vocal Jazz students, under the direction of Julie Clemens, had the amazing opportunity to sing on the main stage of the famed House of Blues in New Orleans over winter break!

ICC's premier jazz singing group traveled to the Jazz Education Network's 2017 JENerations Jazz Festival and international conference in January. While at the conference, students were given the opportunity to sing at the House of Blues Gospel Brunch. With only a moment's notice, ICC Vocal Jazz gave a spectacular, once-in-a-lifetime performance. They also were able to sing for national renowned jazz professionals and grow their craft through seminars and live performances from the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, the UNT Jazz Singers, and others.
