ICC Welcomes Medical Assistant Program Students for Fall 2016

ICC is pleased to welcome students into its Medical Assistant Program for Fall 2016!

Students in ICC's Medical Assistant Program complete a total of 41 credit hours, consisting of classroom and clinical experience, to earn a certificate.

Graduates of ICC's program are well-prepared to work in ambulatory settings performing administrative and clinical duties such as assessing patient's vital signs and histories, preparing patients for procedures, assisting the physician with examinations and treatments, collecting and processing specimens, performing selected diagnostic tests, performing electrocardiograms, and administration of medications as directed by the physician.
