ILLINOIS NATIONAL GUARDSMAN EARNS NATIONAL AIRCREW MEMBER OF THE YEAR AWARD

Ethan Wheeler was recently named the winner of the 2015 U.S. Air Force's Staff Sergeant Henry "Red' Erwin Outstanding Enlisted Aircrew Member of the Year Award. He will receive his award during a ceremony at the Illinois State Military Museum Saturday Jan. 7, 2016, at 2:30 p.m.

WHAT:

 Staff Sgt. Ethan Wheeler was recently named the winner of the 2015 U.S. Air Force’s Staff Sergeant Henry “Red’ Erwin Outstanding Enlisted Aircrew Member of the Year Award. He will receive his award during a ceremony at the Illinois State Military Museum.

Wheeler is assigned to the Illinois Air National Guard’s 126th Air Refueling Wing, based at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

The annual award recognizes enlisted aircrew members for their outstanding accomplishments, leadership and self-improvement in support of the enlisted aircrew operations field.
