SPRINGFIELD, IL (01/10/2016)(readMedia)-- U.S. Army Capt. Daniel Johnson of Springfield, Illinois was awarded the Joint Commendation Medal during a ceremony held at the Illinios Military Academy on Camp Lincoln Jan. 9. Johnson, a plans and policy officer with Joint Forces Headquarted based in Springfield, Illinois, was presented the award for his service during a three-year tour with the National Guard Bureau's joint plans and operations office.
