Ibrahim Jadoon chosen to keynote Centre College Honors Convocation

DANVILLE, KY (04/16/2013)(readMedia)-- Ibrahim Jadoon of Richmond, a senior at Centre College, has been chosen to speak on behalf of the Centre senior class during the college's 2013 honors convocation. The convo is set for Tuesday, May 7, at 7 p.m. in Newlin Hall in the College's Norton Center for the Arts. The public is invited to attend, and there is no admission charge.

During the convocation, the college will announce student recipients of academic awards and honors for the year.

Jadoon was chosen as a result of faculty nominations, followed by a vote among members of the senior class.

Jadoon, who is a graduate of Model Laboratory School, is part of the prestigious Brown Fellows scholarship program, is a past member of the student judiciary, and is on the C.A.R.E. Leadership Team. He is a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity, is a resident assistant, and has studied abroad in Turkey and Panama.

Jadoon is the son of Asad and Yasmin Jadoon of Richmond.
