BURLINGTON, VT (06/20/2014)(readMedia)-- Champlain College is offering prospective transfer students an easy way to get through the admissions application process - Instant Decision Days throughout the summer.

Starting June 23, the College will hold "Instant Decision Days" every weekday to simplify the process for transfer students interested in fall 2014 enrollment. Students will have the opportunity to meet privately with an admissions counselor and receive a preliminary transfer credit evaluation within 24 hours. The counselor will also provide information on housing options and can assist with connecting students to the financial aid office. Our student tour guides will host a campus tour that will include a stop at a residence hall.

By the end of their appointment, the student will know whether or not they've been admitted, and within a day how their previous course work will satisfy Champlain College's degree requirements. The admissions counselor will review the applicant's college transcript(s) and students with less than two semesters of work must also provide a copy of their high school transcript. The free application for admission is available at http://www.champlain.edu/admissions/undergraduate-admissions/transfer-students.

There are no missed phone calls, no frantic emails, no last-minute panic, and no drawn out application processes. Students can simply walk-in not knowing what the future holds and walk out with an answer, completely ready to enroll at Champlain College. The College offers financial aid for single parents and members of the military and veterans. Student's transferring as Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Scholars are eligible to be considered for a $5,000 scholarship.

Appointments are filling up quickly so interested transfer students should make arrangements as soon as possible for their campus visit by calling (802) 860-2727 or by email at admissions@champlain.edu.
